Challenges

Widelity managed thousands of contracts, including employee contracts, contracts generated by operations, and contracts with customers. Previously the Widelity team used Google and heavy email attachments, leading to issues with version control and staying on top of contract deadlines.

Solution

In 2016, Widelity set a goal to seamlessly manage all their contracts and began looking for a solution. Their search led them to Concord. Selected due to the comprehensive feature set and the ease of use of the platform, Widelity noted a key differentiator was the ability to keep all people, processes, and documents in one place with Concord.

Results

After a smooth implementation, Widelity quickly began using Concord to onboard contractors across the United States and focus their international contracts, mainly on projects in Mexico City, across the Operations and HR teams. Getting insight into renewals and end dates provided a quick win and took manual work off the team. This eliminated reliance on email and bulky attachments.

The HR team has been quickly able to ramp up and use Concord to onboard all of their contractors and easily renew contracts. The ability to tag contracts and keep them organized with a robust tagging structure has been a win for Widelity as well.
